Anthony Bush

Owner

Born and raised in Coweta county and attended Newnan High School, graduated 2010. Graduated from West Georgia University with a degree in Accounting in 2016. Obtained his Enrolled Agent certification in February 2022. Partnered with Heather Bush in late 2019 to form Premier Accounting & Tax LLC, first tax season being in 2020 (filing 2019 returns). Anthony previously worked for two CPAs, one being in Douglasville, the other being Laurie Bartlett in Newnan, GA. He married his wife, Brianna Bush, in October 2020 and they welcomed their daughter, Calliope in August 2021. Anthony is the son of Thomas Bush, Jr., who is also Heather Bush’s husband.

Heather Bush

Owner

Born and raised in Coweta county and attended Newnan High School, graduated in 1991. She is the daughter of the former business owner, Tommy Hardy. She has worked with the tax business since 1996. She and Anthony purchased the business from Tommy in late 2019 and changed the name to Premier Accounting & Tax LLC. She is very familiar with the business and its demands from being raised around it and working there for over 25 years. She obtained her Enrolled Agent certification in December 2021.

Heather was raised and lived in the Welcome Community part of Coweta County until 2022. She then moved 15 minutes down the road to Franklin, Georgia. Heather married her husband, Thomas Bush, Jr, in 2003 and assisted in raising his two children, one being Anthony (the other Owner). They have one grandchild.

Tommy Hardy

Tommy Hardy started Five Points Grocery in the 1970’s. In 1981 he started Five Points Tax Service in the back of the store. He grew the tax business to a great family business. He retired in 2019. The business formerly known as Five Points Tax Service was located at the corner of East Newnan Rd and Poplar Rd in the Eastern part of Newnan. The name changed in late 2019 to Premier Accounting & Tax LLC and remained at that location until August 2022, when it relocated to 8 Franklin Rd, Suite A, Newnan. Our building was purchased in a partnership with the owners of Town & Country Restaurant, Robert and Ronda Sherwood. We take great pride in our business/building and all the hard work that went in to making it what it is today. Our first tax season was during the beginning of the Covid pandemic and we persevered and it only made us stronger. Anthony and Heather have more than doubled the size of the business since they took over.

Brandy Cook

Office Manager

Brandy joined Premier Accounting & Tax LLC in June 2022. She is married and has six children and five grandchildren. Brandy and Heather have been friends since they were small children, her mother worked for Tommy for many years. Brandy was born for the Income Tax preparation and bookkeeping business, the clients love her. She has learned so much in her short time with the business and is preparing to be a certified preparer. You can also thank her for how smoothly our office runs!

Bridgett, Kayleen & Christy

We have three new additions to our team Bridgett, Kayleen & Christy. Christy will be assisting with preparing tax returns, completing bookkeeping projects, and also taking care of the front office duties. Kayleen will primarily be assisting clients with picking up/signing their tax paperwork, greeting visitors, and answering the phone. Bridgett will be helping clients set appointments, answering phone calls and fielding questions/concerns, she will be taking care of answering most emails and texts too.
